Once quite a prolific knight part of the Skorian Royal Army (SRA), Lea was dishonourably discharged after a series of repeated offences and affiliations with the Consequence, a fringe and illegal organisation aiming to dismantle tyrants. She now uses her exceptional fighting skills as a mercenary, all while trying to keep her younger sister Crassis safe. She's brash, forthright and not that bright, unless it's to do with weaponsmithing. Indeed, she crafted her own suit of armour, called Era, which can absorb Lenience and send it back to the user. such a breakthrough won't be kept secret for long, not in her hands certainly.

An artificial human created to carry artifical magic. Escaped from his cooling tube prematurley, currently being hunted down by his original manufacturer, Percy Chamber. ES-01 is an Esmoni, a species of artificial humans created by Chamber to weild artificial magic, since biological humans cannot conduct it. As a trade off, Esmoni are very physically weak, and pain to lift anything heavier than rapiers. He was later renamed to Vic by Zia, who discovered him after he escaped his cooling tube. As an Esmoni, Vic is unable to feel or experience human emotions. Despite being quite aimless, he and he alone is the catalyst for the great political turmoil and the shattering of alliances within aldcouragon. reluctantly, he must strive to fix them. he has a soft spot for nature.

Gloria Anastasia Ziatana Halcyon of Skoria. Her name carries the burden of her lineage. Daughter of the current Ruler of Skoria, Tania the third, Zia is the heir to a kingdom known for vicious conquests, high income inequality, and matriarchal dominance. Though, Zia herself isn't much of these things. She may be quite vain and narcissistic, sure, but along with that comes a predisposition to not want to fight, much against her mother's wishes. She reluctantly picked up the spear as a young girl, and is now decent at wielding it. Decent, however, isn't what a future Skorian ruler should be aiming for.
